My review of Last Night's Show
1) Madison- Another solid performance. She has a fantastic voice, and I thought her performance was excellent. Grade A-
2) Shawn- Don't love his tone, but it worked a lot better on this song, and he can sing. Not his biggest fan, but I thought it was his best performance to date. Overall Solid. Grade B
3) Laine- I didn't love the song, but he can sing. And I thought it was a excellent vocal and a decent performance. Grade B+
4) Uche- Overall I thought it was a decent vocal, as always a little over the top, but best to date in my opinion. Grade B
5) Eddie- Not the greatest voice in the world, and I'm not his biggest fan. But he did pick a excellent song for him, making it a decent performance. Grade B-
6) Eyelyn- She has a unique voice which I actually like. Problem is song kind of sucked the life out of the performance for me. Decent, but the vocal should of lead to better grade than it did, but the song held it back. Grade B-
7) Alyssa- Once again not a song I would choose for a contest. Vocal was solid, but was missing something. Grade B-
8) Ryan- he has one of the best and most powerful voices in the competition Not my favorite song for him, but I thought he was rock solid on it. Grade B+
9) Raquel- To recap. I don't like her tone, I don't like her style, I don't like her vocal. Grade D
10) Logan- Too slow of song for him, exposes that he is not the strongest vocalist. Didn't love it, mediocre vocal at best. Grade C-
11) Dimietrious- I don't know what the heck that was in the beginning. To me it was a bit over the top, he can sing, but too over the top for me. Just average. Grade C
12) Riley- Don't love her tone, and I also don't think it was very good vocal either. Below average. Grade D+
13) Walker- This is the wrong song for him, and he was off a lot in the song, basically that happened as soon as the music came in. Slightly Below average. Grade C-
14) Bumbly-That was a mess, it wasn't very good in my opinion. One of the worst performance of the night. Grade D-
15) Ashley- She was doing decently, than went off in the rails in the middle of the song. Bad song choice. Slightly below average for me. Grade C-
16) Alejandro- He is what he is, he is flat as a pancake, not the easiest to understand. I'm not a fan. Having said that just slightly below average, but the problem is this is the best he is gonna do in my opinion. Grade C-
17) Kate- Another not so great performance, not her biggest fan, so there's that. I just don't get it here either. Grade D+
18) Jeremiah- Excellent vocal and perfect song choice. I felt it. For me the best of the night. Grade A
19) Laci- I love her identifiable tone, she can sing, not my favorite song for her, but overall a very good job. Grade B+
20) Wade- I like how he did the song, rock solid vocal. Thought it was very good. Grade B+
For me there still is a number of people who need to go here in my opinion, there are some favorites for me the list is 6 deep right now on that front. (Madison, Laine, Ryan, Jeremiah, Laci, and Wade). All in my opinion of course.
