I just spent a half hour reading the sec form...it is clear to me that the company will execute this split in conjunction with institutional investing ..to facilitate a proper share price and a possible uplisting to the Nasdaq...This is a business decision...

No institutional investor will put money into our company unless we can support a minimum share price...4.00 for the initial uplist and then a minimum price of no less than a dollar afterwards....that would be the worst case scenario...probably your favorite.

I am well aware of the history of reverse stock splits and I don't disagree with you that more often than not it doesn't end well for shareholders.
However, we are talking about a new industry worth billions of dollars and we own shares in only one of a handful of companies in the world that is creating new therapies based on science.

We are even comparing our tablet up against GW's Sativex..the company wouldn't go down that road if they weren't sure of the outcome...for one thing our product is double strength....compared to Sativex...

Our product offers 5mg of both thc/cbd..

Sativex offers 2.6 mgs of thc and 2.5 mgs cbd...a whole different animal..
And while Sativex is an oral mouth spray our product is in tablet form that goes under the tongue..The product is also being developed in a nasal spray which has the quickest entry into the cns(central nervous system) through the olfactory lobes....GW can't compete with this...

So Gary..if all you want to think about is the r/s and not focus on the technology of our company that's your right.

I was there for a week..I met doctors, researchers, patent people...they all told me the same thing over and over...Nobody is doing what OWC is doing..PERIOD.

I am not that much younger than you are and I really don't want to wait years to reap the benefit of my investment in OWC...I do not have all my eggs in one basket..I have many other investments to hedge my holdings...

The one thing I am sure of is the OWC will be very successful and I was told that within 2-4 years OWC will be a major player in the MJ industry.

That doesn't mean in any way that as we climb the mountain towards recognition and respectability our share price won't follow right along...

You only want to focus on one particular aspect of their plan and that is where you fall way short.

You do what you want..but again..if you're holding shares in the company and you don't support their vision...then you don't trust the company,, you have no faith in your investment...and why hold shares if you feel this way?

Voting no is akin to taking your two hands and attempting to strangle yourself....good luck with that.

The company will move forward on this regardless imo and like it says in the sec form..if the vote is no they have the option of requesting more time...I would hope perhaps they might tip their hand a little at that point but frankly I think the rs is a done deal...

Vote no if you want...but ask yourself exactly what that will accomplish.

Whoever is careless with the truth in small matters cannot be trusted with important matters.
