I have always said, that as stockholders we would be better off if the products sell and the stock price rises due to that, than to hope and pray for a buyer. A buyer will not be irrational in a purchase price and will study hard in their calculations for determining an offer. The stock price and the market can sometimes be irrational by over valuating. On the other hand, we will not be fooling any buyers when we are talking about such a significant amount of money that it would take to buy. They will do their homework and KNOW EXACTLY what these products are worth to THEM. How THEY can marketed them successfully and MUCH better than they are NOW. No, they won't be stupid either way as the stock market could be (dot com euphoria). They will not overbid and if they really want the products and patents, they won't take the chance of losing out by underbidding. They did not become the successful companies they are, by being stupid in making bad deals or losing out on good ones.
