Ignorance and Denial...Running Rampant at ALGERNON
We can no longer IGNORE the fact that this will be a cannabis-free investment. Yesterday's news...sealed that deal in black and white.
ALGERNON is currently trying their hand at drug repurposing...to treat liver diseases...four months into Kal and pals new adventure...four mystery compounds from Russia, that are not approved in the U.S. are said to be our best candidates for FDA APPROVAL to treat liver diseases. We are not repurposing FDA APPROVED drugs...like the other successful Pharma companies have done. At best a 70% failure rate after many years of trials...gives ALGERNON a shaky foundation at best.
Along comes Dr Sanyal...a world acclaimed Dr....known ...and hired...for his successes in treating liver diseases with...shhhh...cannabinoids.
ALGERNON hires the cannibinoid based liver treatment expert....but the paranoid types will DENY that ALGERNON will ever be involved in cannabis compounds.
Even though last year our good Dr helped achieve FDA orphan drug status ( where have we heard that before....oh yea...the Ukrainian mystery drugs.) for cannibinoid based liver treatments....in the U.S.
The paranoid types may even wish that we DONT take the good Dr's cannibinoid based liver treatments and shortcuts to orphan drug designation....that he CAN provide. ...and instead cling to hopes of four Russian mystery compounds...never approved in the U.S..... will attract billion dollar Pharma companies.
Sure we have four Russian compounds getting positive results with mice....but with a 70% FDA failure rate repurposing drugs....at best...odds are 3 out of 4 of those candidates will fail some point of FDA trials and approvals. That would leave ALGERNON with...at best....only ONE potential candidate for FDA APPROVAL.
A 4 month old Pharma company needs more than that for a stable foundation.
Along comes Dr Sanyal....known for his progress treating liver disease with cannabinoids. I simply trust his proven track record...over...Russian mystery compounds successfully making it through 5-7 years of FDA trials.
We should all welcome him, his knowledge, skills, and advancements in the treatments of liver disease.
If he uses cannibinoid based treatments...so be it....HE IS THE EXPERT...not us....not the paranoids.
Dr Sanyal is the best thing that could happen to ALGERNON. Please don't refer to him or his cannibinoid based research as pothead BS. If fuzzy wuzzy plants...is what puts some in their comfort zone...then grab a fuzzy wuzzy bear...and go sit down in the corner and watch ALGERNON change....with the use of fuzzy wuzzy plants...because we just hired a fuzzy wuzzy plant...liver treatment expert. There's nothing fuzzy wuzzy about that.
IMHO.....if investing in a company involved on cannabis compounds....makes some queasy....NOW....may be a good time to sell out and run along...before any more PR's are released by ALGERNON. It is going to be increasingly difficult for ALGERNON to release PR's going forward....and not mention the "C" word. Hey maybe they will tell the good Dr....NOT to mention the "C" word because the paranoids may freak out if they find out we are serious about liver disease and now have an expert that has a proven track record using the "C"'s
Dr. Sanyal has a very good cannibinoid based liver disease track record...in the U.S...and he doesn't need to slow things down by going backwards with Ukrainian drugs...not approved for use in the U.S.
So the big question to ask is....will Dr Sanyal offer his world renowned cannibinoid based liver treatments...to ALGERNON...which is trying to find liver treatment compounds to fast track through the FDA.......or....will he just sit back and be happy to....feed the mice Ukrainian mystery compounds??? You have to be really dense not to get this.
So...our current Ukrainian mystery compounds...not pothead related.
