Yes its very confusing with all the perceptions, the old messages from D'Couto with the whole when did it start ? when is it complete?

What I gleaned from Fidelity and their Corporate Action department is that the action is not complete yet.

I asked about the CUSIP and they told me it is not a valid CUSIP and is a placeholder. Because it is not a valid CUSIP it is not part of the DTC system which is how stock is moved between brokerages.

They currently do not have my stock but that can change if the Corporate Action is completed.

In retrospect the E-Trade rep said something similar. I guess we will know more when the action is complete.
