As a long time pain sufferer, I find this especially repugnant. But, at the same time, I don't understand why people OD on opoids. If used as directed, it works as advertised.

I believe, and my Dr concurs, the data is misleading as the government lumps all into the same box. If you separate legit from illegal, the vast majority of ODs come from the latter. Yet the government makes life difficult for us legit users by implementing processes that affect the legit patient and do nothing about the illegal users.
