Newmont Corporation (NEM)

Anyone know anything about this ticker IDAM. https://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/IDAM/security. As you can see it's dark and defunct, however, Transfer Agent Verified Par Value of $1.00. Newmont (NEM) https://www.newmont.com/home/default.aspx is the parent company.

I only took interest in this ticker, cause of the past two weeks volume, so I called investor relations last week and they confirmed that NEM is the parent company, I also wanted to make sure what the share structure was, they didn't have an answer for, but indicated that I should the transfer agent, Computershare to get the correct information, so I called the Transfer Agent they said that IDAM or Idarado Mining Company was not in their database and if I was sure that IDAM was not merging with anyone, I said I don't know.. Remember the phrase "merging" with anyone. Then I called investor relations again, left a message with Johnathan Beagle, he called me back (this was our second time talking on the phone) he said the companies legal staff are calling computershare transfer agent and they will have them call me with the information that I needed, then he said the site in Colorado, which is the Idarado Mining Company location is in reclamation, but NEM, which is Newmont, also trading on the big boards NYSE owns 82% of Idarado Mining Company IDAM. So my question to you experts on this board or wherever, if Barrick Gold acquired NEM and NEM own IDAM, should the valuation on IDAM be higher, or for that matter, I know Barrick didn't want some of NEM subsidiaries, logic would tell that, they will probably bring those assets into IDAM at some point in the future.

This ticker for the longest time was on DTC Chill and it was in the grey markets no trades for the longest time, all of the sudden it has woken up, there has to be a reason. Incredible share structure and Par value of $1.00 definitely is baffling and the parent company worth in billions and billions. Just wished I knew the real back story and expert advise would be appreciated.
