The first fleet order was for a ride-share service in Nairobi, Kenya (i.e. city driving). It looks like they could probably squeeze at least 4 or five days of average travel between charges if we conservatively assume that they get 180 miles per charge. If the ride-share company simply spreads a few charge stations strategically around town (I'm sure we're not talking NYC style property values) they'd be all set.
As for showing you a prototype, why should they? You planning on buying a fleet? There are many reasons companies don't disclose information, e.g. protect trade secrets, competitive advantage, etc. We do know that whatever prototype they showed to the Nairobi company was impressive enough for them to place a $1 million order.
