Good point, could be the reason. I would include that under technical legal reasons, since the preferred did have voting rights. But perhaps as you say, it was a cleaner way to go about the voting in some way.

It also could have been for the vote at the ASM. It might have presented a cleaner way of voting those shares since the previous vote for those was in the company's control.
