To reiterate. Mitlin has been working on this hempacitor since at least 2004 which is the first date i find an article with his name.

Just a reminder, it was illegal to grow hemp in the US until last fall when the farm bill passed. No bank would have lent money to anything that involved hemp. Companies didn't want to be associated with anything hemp lest they lose access to their financing. That all changed with the farm bill.
