Whole Foods, the major food distributor, visited an indoor RAS shrimp facility outside San Antonio, Texas!
When asked about Whole Food's facility visit (around 4:08 mark), the patent-approved company said this:
"Yes, absolutely. I will mention Whole Foods because Whole Foods has been through our plant in San Antonio.
Everywhere that we've talked to a grocery store or distributor we have just had the most open arms of just we'll
take whatever you have. That's why we had talked about what that distribution, potentially doing a specialized
special situation distribution plan for one of those folks."
In light of recent articles about foreign shrimp, glad to see Whole Foods is looking at buying US seafood!
Go WFM!
