Good point. The GSEs should be classified as SIFIs (Joseph Otting in a nice spot to do this given his dual roles) and require GSEs to have 8% core capital standards. Mark Calabria agrees. This is a great idea. I'll do the math later, but existing common might end up sub-$1.00 in this scenario.
