Yes these two companies do complement each other.

The following article is the story of Powin Energy.

https://www.bizjournals.com/portland/news/2017/02/16/how-a-tualatin-company-got-a-shot-at-solving-one.html

The key part is that they transformed themselves into a Grid Scale Energy storage supplier.

“Powin’s system is able to manage cells from different suppliers,” said University of Washington chemical engineering and clean energy professor Venkat Subramanian"

"Tiny Powin believes it has an advantage against the big players with its smart technology and its ability to source components, including batteries, at the lowest possible cost."

“Systems that costs $2,000 per kilowatt-hour of storage in 2009 or 2010 are now $400 per kilowatt-hour,”

So here is XNRGI with quoted costs that are way below $400 per KW-hour

"Performance / Price Product Roadmap
XNRGI has produced 600 working samples (8 billion micro-batteries) for a wide range of clients, and proven its ability to manufacture its batteries at less than $150/kWh no matter what the application or scale."

So Helios Royal Energy can merge the different technologies of Solar, Wind, Grid scale battery management systems and Batteries by just sourcing the different systems from each company.

They can also buy a stake in each and it will be beneficial to the companies to take the best from each and create a better product to compete with the bigger companies.

I do not know which way they will go, however Amobi having ties to each will give XNRGI the opportunity jump into grid scale storage much quicker than seemed possible before.
