Amazon.com earnings to reflect strong holiday sales, says Loop Capital
Loop Capital analyst Anthony Chukumba kept his Buy rating and $2,200 price target on Amazon.com ahead of its Q4 results in two weeks, saying the company remains one of his favorite long ideas for this year. The analyst also raised his Q4 earnings outlook on Amazon to $5.77 from $5.30 given his more optimistic outlook for North America sales growth and profitability based on the "strong holiday sales results by several retailers and MasterCard Spending Pulse's estimate" that U.S. online holiday sales increased 19.1%
