MOCHIDA had a US NASH exploratory study using 1.8 Grams of EPA. The results of the study were inconclusive; however, MOCHIDA had enough data and beliefs of efficacious results they followed through with getting IP.

4 grams IMO would produce a significant result. The prior study used needle biopsy, I believe there are now more accurate and noninvasive techniques to perform an expanded trial. The entire trial and FDA approval pathway is covered under unmet needs; it’s a shoe-in for an accelerated approval.
