It is always a suspicion when a company relies on financing from insiders. If it turns out to be a great and timely investment for the insider without the investment opportunity ever being offered to outsiders, you could call it "insider trading".

If they did offer the financing opportunity to outsiders --and they did not get any interest--that says alot too.

In other words, management may have been the investor of last resort with no viable alternatives to continue to fund operations.

However, even an insider would not throw good money after bad if they had NO confidence in the company's potential.

Successful Trading is the art of minimizing long term risk and maximizing capital allocation.
