Buffett's decision to go whole hog into Apple is looking increasingly like a major blunder - major because of the massive size of the position. Hopefully he won't try to 'average down' and add to the losing position.

Better to just avoid the tech sector, especially the hardware end where the risk of commoditization is high, along with the risk of being 'leap frogged' by a newer mouse trap.

Better areas within tech (imo) are the services and software related stocks (see below). I haven't updated these lists in some time, but you get the idea. A lot of the services and software stocks have a 'moat' of sorts due to their existing customer base, who don't want to change over to a new system/platform. Hardware related stocks are generally to be avoided imo -
