There's next to zero chance that a government agency would usurp the trial oversight from the DSMB and PIs and trial sponsor.

Trial integrity is paramount, and any government agency knows that.

Wow, I can imagine the size of the lawsuit against the Australian gov't, if a mistake is made.

Again, there's no chance that any rogue individuals or a group in the Australian government takes it upon themselves to review ANY trial data outside of the pre-specified trial protocol.
