If there's any consolation in this sorry saga, it may be that none of your rantings contributed to the demise of MZEI. The company literally destroyed itself through gross misconduct.

The proof may still come, if a private company can somehow emerge from the ruins and bring the technology to good use.

Having the last laugh on good ol' Tane will at least provide a little comfort.
