Here is what we know. From Friday:

11:35 AM
Jury has retired to begin deliberations.

11:38 AM
Court is in recess.

1:12 PM
Court back in session. Note #1 received from jury.

1:17 PM
Written response sent back to jury. Court is in recess.

2:33 PM
Jury reached a verdict.

2:35 PM
Court back in session. Jury verdict is read, jury polled, and
verdict is unanimous.

2:45 PM
Jury is thanked and excused. Court is adjourned.

I read the jury instructions, jury form etc. and it is unclear what this length of time indicates. There would have probably been an hour break for lunch in the 3 hours of deliberations. Looks like an hour of deliberations before note to judge and an hour after to reach decision.

My gut has been Finjan "won", but for a very small amount of only a few million which would get perceived as a loss. They have done such cheap settlements that I don't think they can get a large amount again. Especially since the appellate court threw out their method of charging per user.

There was an appeal by Finjan, but don't mistake that for a loss. They are appealing an order to unseal documents that would make public past licensing deals. It isn't the decision that was appealed.

I haven't been following closely, so that is all I can add.
