I'm not reassured by that very comprehensive article. If Obrador is a Marxist, industries like mining could be nationalized.
However, my guess is that Mexico is the land of bribes, and in the long run, everything will turn out fine for the mining companies, though their profits are going to go down, maybe significantly.
