Yeah, I noticed the pricing for the amount. Lot of companies sell for much less. Chileplants sells live plants as well as seeds. You order the live plants in advance and the company ships at the appropriate time for planting, based on your growing zone. I can put pepper plants in the soil in April, May and up to June.
The Carolina Reaper takes about four months, 120 days, to mature. Which means I should transplant them May 1 after the soil has warmed. They won't be ready until August.
The advice about growing them says keep them about 5 feet away from other pepper plants. They also grow up to 5 feet tall.
