As the new President of Mexico comes in. President Lopez Obrador has publicly stated that he will not allow fracking in Mexico. Since 2010 Mexico's proved plus probable gas reserves has been cut in half. With an average decline in production in the years 2010-2017 being 4.7%. But this rate is accelerating as the decline from 2016 to 2017 was 13%.

In this time period Mexico's importing of nat gas has nearly tripled. So with the incoming president clearly stating that he is against fracking to increase nat gas production. If this pattern continues there is clearly a need for more pipelines carrying nat gas into Mexico.

Question for you powertech. I'm not quite sure the logistics of this whole project. From the announced PR I see Mr. Ward and co plan to build this pipeline. They have also referenced the Brasil nat gas storage field. If Mr Ward's pipeline were to begin in west Texas. Say in the Permean basin. Where our frackers have big nat gas production as a by product of oil production. Could that storage field be used as some sort of a hub? To move great quantities of nat gas from from the Permean basin to maybe all over the world? Including meeting all of Mexico's nat gas demands?

If Mr. Ward is/has secured all the required permits. This seems like it could be a home run for all involved.
