Yes there is a dispute with China. China claims the majority of the waters that lay within a 9 dash line in the South China Sea . SC72 is withi this line but it is also within the Philippines Exclusive Economic Zone. I believe this zone extends out 200 miles from their border. In the last several years tensions grew because it was ruled by an international tribunal in The Hague UNCLOS that Chinas claim has no merit. Last week China and The Philippines signed an agreement on joint exploration of the disputed area. CNOOC will share the development of SC72 with Forum energy who holds the Service Contract 72.We believe that the moratorium on exploration in the area which had been in place for several years will be lifted. The Philippines relies on the Malampaya gas field for its energy. It is reported Malampaya reserves will be depleted in a few years so a replacement must be found. SC72 holds trillions of ft of gas and oil, is one of the largest discoveries in the area. China needs it, The Philippines needs it, it will be done.
The stock is up from trips where it languished for years and PXP the majority holder managed to pilfer a very large percentage of FECOF holdings in Forum. At one point we owned over 30% of Forum. Prominent business men from the Philippines have positioned themselves with ownership of Forum and PXP. They want our 6.8% but have refused to offer us a fair valuation. The shareholders organized.

With Asian Coast we control over 30% of the outstanding and growing. The shares held have been verified. PXP holds 55%.
We will get our valuation for several reasons. Over the years PXP Installed puppet leadership in FECOF. When they self dealed themselves our holdings in Forum they made critical legal errors. At this point we have not filed lawsuits, but we will if they try to do it again.
SC72 is worth $billions over time. With so much at stake and with so many prominent businessmen involved it would be foolish to provoke litigation or to refuse such a reasonable valuation Imho
