1) How much memory do you have?

2) do you start MT yourself by clicking on an icon, or do you have Windows Task Scheduler start it? this might seem like a trivial question, but it actually has big performance implications

3) what datafeed are you using?

4) Do you have a lot of charts open? One thing that happens right at 9:30 is that the charts have to be fully redrawn to hide premarket data if the extended hours setting is set to anything other than ALWAYS or NEVER.
