tyguy, it's good to hear from you. I respectfully disagree with your penny stock view; Penny stocks are a different breed. You have to move fast or you get run over.

Most of us believe good things will continue to come for the winning stocks we choose, and we tend to hold on to them too long after a nice gain. One can exercise that trading strategy with the big board stocks, they are more forgiving, however the penny's are too volatile. I too seem to hold on too long past the apex and then watch the decline of the PPS hoping for more good news; however in this stock, we were sold on the pump by being mislead from the CEO with all fluff.

Once again I had to learn the hard way and lose a fortune to this clown CEO, but now I woke-up and my trading has once again improved.

I went back to the basics and research the Hot percentage gain penny stocks that are in the news and put them on my hot list. I hold cash on hand (1/3 portfolio) for when a pull-back occurs (like the recent pull-back in pot stocks) and I buy back in with 1/2 cash holdings once a reversal is confirmed. I then sell once the momentum and buyers coming in slows and I don't push for the home run, just cash in on the base hits.

It's not hard to have a 10-20% gaily gain, but the home-runs are mostly a lucky gamble.

Trade smart and trade often.
