that "mom & pop" cobalt being smuggled out the back door of the DRC and surreptitiously being "mixed" into your manufacturing BLOCKCHAIN right after you run your Ebola checker/counter test on that black market stuff... because you can bet BYD and every other EV manufacturer in China is buying these testing devices lickity split today. Can you imagine some "investigative" reporter from BBC/Reuters/CNN with a Geiger counter in his hand at the exit gate of the BYD or NIO or any EV factory showing his audience realtime Geiger counter readings on the new cars being shipped out of the factory?

PS2, Dear Xi, if I were you I would give Katanga the money to build that Ion Exchange System in 6 months rather than one year, and I would give the money to Katanga for free, no interest, no payback, just a nice goodwill gesture. Or, you could build that Ion Exchange System in China... but then how would get all 5,000 smugglers to deliver their burlap bags of raw cobalt to the single new Ion Exchange System processor?
