I am not thinking it is Zaric buying or he would just gobble a huge amount all at once... and if he really wanted to grab shares he would be converting the 80% of the company he owns into the common shares.
Here is what I'm thinking..... some entity is not allowing the ticker to be idle for the amount of days required in order to be able to forfeit shares as a write-off.
Not sure of other brokerages but if I recall looking into E-Trade they will allow you to only forfeit and give up your shares if there has been no trading activity for something like 30, 60, or 90 days. (can't really remember the required amount of time)
Just so it's known, I'm not about to just give up my shares as I'm not needing any write-offs. I did look into a share forfeiture years ago with another ticker that I held back then and still hold now that is totally worthless.
