don't matter if computers shrink to the size of a tic-tac and increase computing power 100x. our society and the world will never evolve significantly without a better and endless regenerative power source. period. think "zero point module" (ref: Stargate) -or something along those lines which taps into greater forms of energy.
Here we have fancy electric cars running on nothing more than a newer iteration of 100 year old battery tech. And good luck powering that nice new bionic arm without a 25lb battery pack that only lasts for 5 hours. lol.
we can build it, but we cant power it in any significant manner. effing joke.
90% of the world's issues would begin to be solved overnight with a clean, efficient, portable power source that generates more energy than it uses (holy grail). All true solutions would stem from it.
makes me laugh i look at our billionaires like gates, zuckerburg, Jobs, others- and all they do is "fight cancer" and "feed the hungry" or some other PR-correct bullshit so they can feel good about themselves.
I mean- WTF. work on the real problem. energy. end of story. amazing how billionaire geniuses suddenly get stupid.
Tesla was on the right track. No one else since then.
