R59- Respecting the views of others

What others ? I mean yes, I respect the views of others on this board, but not others as far as retail investors in general. I don't think it arrogant to feel strongly that retail investors are not only way wrong when a stock keeps tanking well below my buy point, but that there are even institutional forces at work(ie hedgefunds). My opinion on manipulation is based mainly on what appears to be organized/timed selling in violent spurts day after day, after a stock is already well below my buy point.

Re, I believe my feelings are substantiated by the successes vs failures that I've had for 15 years since on this board. In other words, if I generally buy more of a stock as it tanks(when I believe there is irrational selling or manipulation), and I come out ahead for doing so 7-8 out of 10 times for 15 years, then yes my view has merit, and is not arrogant.

As far as HEAR, while I do acknowledge that the shorts could be right 2019, I must weigh all the facts, including large recent buys ie Jeffrey Vinik 886K purchase around $19. Personally I feel the shorts are very wrong to be making such a strong assumption of failure in 2019 at this point in time, when things are continuing to ramp up, and there is no hint of of a slowdown. Also with HEAR having just come out with a line of headphones for the PC market, which if successful, would bring more sustainable business, it is even more irrational to assume failure.

Bottom line is, I obviously have a strong opinion on this, but in my view, that doesn't make me arrogant. As a matter or record, I was dead even with HEAR going into this latest buying, and my average buy on this go round is $19 almost exactly. I averaged down from $20.50 to l7.20, which only added to my overall share count. So far, so good !

By the way Re, I am verging on an all time high, and am now up 12% for the year. Very volatile market though, and anything could happen. Best of luck,

Wade
