$VIX contango extremes are rare I am told, and was seen
again last week, and in prior instances some technicians
are saying they know the FACT to be that historically
it has resulted in 4% declines in the following period
I have not kept data sets to validate this to be accurate ...
am simply passing on what some Pro's are claiming is
evident in the history of the $VIX contango extremes in relation to $SPX price outcomes
SPY has not violated its 10-week EMA for any Friday close since late June 2018 ...
how about we see if any single-day or multiple-day future downside violations of the SPY 10-week EMA actually hold for multiple daily Friday closes
