The Russell 2000 Small Caps dropped thru near term support today (June/July lows), with next support at 1600 (Jan/March highs). The small cap index is often viewed as a gauge of investor's appetite for risk, or the 'canary in the coal mine'.

The Nasdaq also fell thru near term support (7400), with next support around 7250 and then 7200.

Looks like the market needs a breather, and some time to consolidate.
