Since Janssen has discontinued the first agreement, they can't run clinical trials with imetelstat or develop it commercially in any way. According to Scarlett on the CC, Geron retains ALL rights to imetelstat. So due to the second agreement, it looks like if in the future imetelstat is used in combo therapy with venetoclax, then Janssen would demand royalties for that. But, Janssen has no development or commercial rights to imetelstat anymore.
