Thank you for writing. As previously discussed through phone conversations and email correspondence based on the information we had regarding the dividend for FAGI provided by the DTC, we allocated funds to our client's based on what the account would qualify for. Unfortunately, we don not know nor can we speculate as to why the DTC issued and then deleted the dividend but when the DTC deleted the dividend, we had to then reverse the payment from your account. While we certainly try to work with you in regards to covering any deficiency, the movement in the market related to the positions in your account dictated that action was needed to ward off any further decline in the value of your positions. Additionally, we are not able to speculate in regards to what other brokerage firms may be doing in regards to anything that transpired in regards to the FAGI dividend.
