Why is love so important? When i think of love...i think of the fact that God is love...love is God. God is the creator of love and of course...the love of God is perfect. We can not truly fathom just how much God loves us..right? And God has instilled in all of us the capacity and desire to love. Love...is the greatest virtue. Love...is greater than faith and hope. Love...is the greatest command...and...Love...is our greatest testimony. My thought is that the main theme of the Holy Bible...Gods spoken word...is Love. The love of God for us...the love of Jesus in His sacrifice for us...How we are to love God with all our heart..mind..soul and strength...and...to love others as we love ourselves...even to love our enemies. The old Beatles song comes to my mind..."All you need is Love". I often quote here..."Love is giving another person what they need the most when they deserve it the least at great personal cost to yourself". That is what Jesus did for us...i want to be like Jesus! That short yet simple scripture..."Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"...oh the love in that verse that could change the world. So today...lets not just tell folks we love them...lets get out there and show them...as we know...Love is a verb...it should crave to show action...because...God is love...love is God. My thought...how is the world going to see Jesus Christ in us...by the way we love them...and...im thinking that nothing can motivate a lost sinner like the heartfelt love of Jesus Christ thru us. Think about it!
