Nowhere in that PR does it mention SOUPQ.

Just Gallant Brands, and the Original Soupman.

They bought the assets, but not the ticker. Original Soupman was a trademark that was bought.

Is the ticker even on the new soup boxes?

If you own the stock, you own a write-off, nothing more.
