Your feelings are in line with MY feelings!

Yes, I would much rather see a very slow and steady climb. I just thought today it would get to $5.00, especially after seeing it at $4.90 first thing this morning.

By the way, to those discussing farmers and raising hemp. Kentucky was once a big tobacco state. I used to raise a large amount of tobacco. But the feds have always strictly controlled us and we have 'quotas'. You are only allowed to raise so much each year, based on demands (to keep the price up). When I got down to 2 acres as an allotment, that's when I decided to 'sell my quota' to another farmer. There has been MUCH consolidation like this in recent years.

This means many farmers would sure like to have another crop to put in tobacco's place. The entire state has farms with the acreage and in areas like south central Kentucky and in the Lexington region, there are HUGE farms that can grow hemp. These are the farms that used to produce it during the wars long ago. And those still having tobacco equipment, they could start up immediately because it is the same process.
