Are you referring to a trade at .00001? If so, regular people (me and you) can't trade lower than .0001, but market makers can. This kind of trade is generally from one market maker to another to clean up loose change. Nobody likes loose change in their pockets.

Here, the .00001 trade was for 4000 shares. That amounts to $.04 - four cents.
