When I moved into my cabin I was trimming lower tree branches on a step ladder with bent supports from a previous accident using a balky little Stihl trimmer saw. I got so irritated with climbing down the ladder restarting the saw that I started angrily pulling the cord while I was still up the ladder.

You can probably guess what happened next when I ended up on my back, hard, holding the saw by the handle with my left hand(no where near the trigger) it decided to run at full rpm and irrigated an 11" trench on the top of my shin bone. For some reason I'm left with the vision of my 2 dogs taking off, tails tucked, asses low to the ground fearing what they were going to hear next. They weren't wrong
