So as we trod this earthly path each and everyday...what do we believe in? Where do we stand? Do we make our yes a yes and our no a no? Do we support the things that are good and righteous and of God or do we often compromise our beliefs and join in with the secular world thinking...im just one person what good is taking a stand gonna do? Its not really a big deal if i join in is it? So...in and of it all...who are we serving...satan or God? What really matters...what the world thinks or what God knows? So let me give you some examples at the risk of blowing my own horn because i do take a stand because i can guarantee there is NOT a drop of political correctness in this southern boy! Im a 62 year old man...when a Victoria secret commercial comes on TV...i turn my head...because God tells me that if i lust after a woman that is sin...i dont give myself a chance to do that. I dont shop at Target because they allow men to use the womans bathroom and dressing room and Gods infallible word tells me that that lifestyle...trans gender and homosexuality is sin. I dont eat at Hardees because in their commercials they degrade woman and use them as sex objects to sell hamburgers...im told in scripture that i am to love others as i love myself and i dont think that is appropriate...and i also turn my head when those commercials come on! i dont drink Starbucks coffee because they support same-sex marriage and abortion. I dont go to movies that i know there is sexual situations...cussing and taking the Lords name in vane and any other number of perverse things because i dont believe letting other people see me in and out of those places brings honor to my walk and witness and relationship with Jesus and it sure dont bring glory to God. And the list can go on and on...y'all know what im talking about here...right? Now you may say...Rick...isnt that carrying it just a bit far...and i respect your opinion and view...but my answer is no and if someone wants to label me a Jesus freak...thats ok...better a Jesus freak than a satan servant! Look folks...im a long ways from perfect and i aint walked on water...but you know what...we have to be pro-active in our walk with Jesus...because...when we let loose of Jesus hand...guess who grabs hold...satan! So...where do we stand...when we partake in anything or any place that is supporting satan because they are going against Gods Holy infallible word...who are we supporting? Think about it?
