NGL: You could try it on a thousand units but I've played that game with other stocks and came out ahead only once and it was pure luck. Whereas I'd thought I was being smarter than others? No way! Usually I'd find myself on the outside of huge gains the other guys were harvesting. I can lol now but it was pretty ugly back then. I felt so stupid---knowing I dared not go out in the summer's blazing sun for fear I'd look like an omelet. Hold the bacon and cheese but not my buns.
Something I've learned to live with is that rarely, if ever, are things perfect. Part of the creativity each person on Earth might enjoy is his/her unique array of talents. How and when we put them to work is the nut from which our fruits emerge.
My goal is to own 50,000 units of NGL. For me it's just a fun number---one that tells me I have to have fun---and a lot of it. It's a reminder that while I was virtually blind sixteen years ago and agonizing over financial insufficiencies without apparent recourse, things do change, times change and life changes---and in the end, it is we who must change. Desperation is no longer part of the picture depicting my life, thankfully. Yet it remains a demon of sorts, else I'd not be running into the jaws of high risk.
NGL is not looking risky to me in the least. Were that not the case, I'd be pulling back a bit to conserve cash. Instead, I'm as horny as a young male goat charging a herd of hers. And I'm having a great time daring the oddsmaker who constantly reminds me that I don't have to be held captive just because others such as we find at Seeking Alpha appear to be.
Just be careful, please, that you can quantify gains by playing things one way as opposed to another. And I hope you'll keep in mind that NGL might just toss out a press release illustrating management's determination to make the company into a dynamic, raging MLP on the move. I plan on trying to light another fire under Trey's rear.
