Wrong in this instance: Pretrial Discovery, in this sort of case, should be a very short process. There are no employees to interview and much of the work as been done during the IPR process. Winning the IPRs gives VPLM a big head-start in many parts of the upcoming trials.

In most trials, there is no IPR trial which circumvents many of the time consuming aspect of a normal trial!
