Don't forget the laches doctrine when account for infringement timeframes or damages.

We don't know the agreement/contract between Worlds and Susman Godfrey, but my common sense tells me that the law firm will get certain percentage from potential past damage whether from settlement or from jury verdict.

I don't think Susman will get any percentage from future royalty/settlement with ATVI, and if Worlds wins this ATVI lawsuit it would be smart for Worlds to not pay legal services on contingency fee basis for future infringement lawsuits. What is the hourly rate for Susman Godfrey's law firm?

Perhaps someday shareholders will know the details of Worlds' contract with Susman Godfrey ... and let's not count the chickens before they hatch.
