Thanks Jag as a lawyer I often do the same. Park has a good point about the terms of the contract. The contract may call for a promise to pay X amount of money upon delivery of Y amount of product on Z date. Or it could call for payment in the future for the benefit of both parties. Deferred income and deferred expenses. But I’m no accountant couldn’t do the math, that’s why I went to law school.
