Bigworld, Yes, Trump is now a Neocon. He was already in alignment with much of their agenda for years (reverse the Iran deal, move the US embassy to Jerusalem, demonize Moslems, being friends with Bibi, bringing in Bolton, etc).
One could rationalize that Trump was merely kissing up to the Neocons to keep them on his side politically, but the end result is that the Neocons clearly control him.
It appears the goal now is to maneuver Iran and Saudi Arabia into a direct shooting war. They're already in a proxy war in Syria and Yemen, but Bolton & Co want the two in direct conflict which will give the US an excuse to attack Iran. Based on past precedent, there could soon be a false flag attack on a Saudi oil tanker, blamed on Iran, which will get the ball rolling.
