At first I was going to heap praise upon your response, but, after rereading it again I´ll give it a mezzon mezzo.

You state¨That said I'm sure the FDA also takes a drugs potential for approval into consideration, but I don't think "particularly promising" gets you any of those designations.¨

I guess you are suggesting it´s not beyond the FDA to consider (my words) ¨not particularly promising¨ drugs(also my belief).
