J.C. Penney Co. Inc. (JCP) said Tuesday that it will open a new store location in Brooklyn, at the Kings Plaza mall, on August 10. Another Brooklyn location, launched in 2014, "has consistently been one of our top performers since it opened," said Joe McFarland, J.C. Penney's chief customer officer. The location will have 75,000 square feet, including a 2,000-square-foot Sephora and an energy-efficient design.
