from discovery to production - canoe (block VR378) is in an ideal location for a fast-track subsea tieback to the pipelines serving Marathon at block VR 379 (directly west of VR 378) or Rooster LLC at block VR376 (one block north of that)

spud, drill and log, develop the well, connect via tieback to a nearby platform, flow is tied in using reserve capacity of the existing neighbors pipeline

all of the work after drilling and logging does not require a fixed rig, but the jackup would likely be the right tool for all of it except laying and connecting the tiebacks

it can be moved to drill tau then come back for development

just in case anyone was curious about whats ahead in the canoe timeline

the subsea tieback is a huge time (and $$$) saver
