How many great sermons have you heard in your lifetime? I know I have heard quite a lot of them. Those that convict me, instruct me, list goes on. Yet, sometimes we see a sermon played out in real life right before our eyes. I was blessed enough to witness one of the best sermons ever. I have comments afterwards ............... What happened stated below ............. https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=141929286 His response ..................... https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=141877579 back2basics Member Level Thursday, 06/28/18 06:54:19 PM Re: None 0 Post # 14198 of 14658 We all have experiences in life that are varying degrees of good, bad and indifferent. Today I had an experience that stands alone. For the past several years I've been exchanging PMs with a I-Hubber named NearlyInvisible. NI lurks on the Board and saw that my wife had passed. On Monday he sent me a PM with his condolences. He closed with this. "If you would like a semi-anonymous pal to sit a while on the porch and talk or not talk, let me know. " I told him that I'd welcome a visit from him. No mention was made of how long a visit. NI got here at 9:30 this morning. We visited a while and went to lunch at Rush Spring's prime eating place. Smoki'n Joe's Bar B Que. Right now NI is West bound toward Amarillo, Albuquerque, Gallup and West of Phoenix. He had to get back to West of Phoenix for a family function on Saturday morning. This man, that I had never met, drove 1800 miles to give me a few hours of companionship---when I really needed it. Is Americaa great place or what? B2B My comments .............. Vince Gill wrote a song with a line straight paraphrased from God's word that said ........ You can only take what you GIVE AWAY! No amount of money in the offering plate going to do it. It's when we sacrifice our self to honor God is when we are able to take what ever that sacrifice was with us. You can only take what you GIVE AWAY!
