I think the Endopat will be replaced by the heart sentry. I watched the presentation (Endopat's) and I believe the Heart Sentry will not only be more accurate (via different test area and test methods)but will be much more operator friendly and more cost effective in not only equipment cost, but in the training of technicians to operate the device. I also believe the Heart Sentry will become the next device in a home health monitoring system whereas the Endopat's complicated testing method will not be consumer friendly therefore limiting it to physicians. (Not to mention that the accuracy be limited to operator controls therefore less consistent results)
The Heart Sentry will be lower cost, easier to operate, while in my opinion due to method of detection, more accurate.
